Frequently Asked Questions

All the info you need for a great time with us

How long is the session and how many photos do you take?

Your session will last around 45 minutes. We take over 100 images. From these we will personally select the best images to be presented to you at your viewing.

Is there somewhere to park near the studio?

Yes – we have plenty of parking right outside.

What are the opening hours?

The studio is open Tuesday – Thursday 12pm – 7pm, and Saturdays and Sundays, 10am-4pm. We are also open outside of these hours by appointment only.

Will there be anywhere for us to change clothes?

Yes, we have a changing room for your use and recommend you bring a change of clothes.

Can we bring our pets?

Yes, within reason animals are welcome. Certainly we regularly photograph dogs, cats and small animals – more exotic pets are welcome too, just ask.

What should we bring with us for our session?

Bring props – musical instruments, replica football kits, sports equipment, holiday mementoes. If you have a particular hobby or passion, bring something relating to that – (an artist’s easel, a chef’s hat) to really personalise your session. You are also welcome to bring a cd of your own music to play during the session.

What can you do that I can’t do at home?

Well, for a start we have a big, white room – a blank canvas to work with, plus, Robin, who is an award winning photographer – qualified with the Master Photographers’ Association, Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and the British Institute of Professional Photography.

How long will my viewing last?

It varies, but please allow an hour to view and choose your images.

What should I bring to the viewing?

Anyone who you think would like to see the photos! If you have a particular space in mind for wall frames to go, we suggest you bring the measurements to help you choose the right product. Full payment is required with orders and we accept cash, cheques, and major credit and debit cards.

Can I bring my children to the viewing?

We recommend parents not to bring younger children into the viewing room as they can get bored and restless, and you may find this distracting.

Can I view my images online?

We do request that you return for a viewing at the studio, as it is much easier to see and choose the images from our large screen, and while seeing the various display options available. After that, we can arrange for your images to go online for 2 weeks for an administration fee of £50, which we would deduct from any future orders.

When will my portraits be ready?

Please allow 6-8 weeks from your viewing/order date.
